Renewable Energy Event

Thursday 17^th February 2011

7 – 9pm Lakeland Training Room – Eden Fitness, Kirkby Stephen

You are invited to attend an evening to explore the potential for renewable energy schemes across Upper Eden.  You may have an interest in small scale hydro/wind/solar or perhaps you have ambitions to run a community owned scheme.  This event is designed to answer some of you questions and make contacts to help you develop your ideas.

Hear about Feed in Tarrifs and grid connections, along with technology advice. Other local people who have already installed renewable energy technology, will be on hand to discuss their experiences with you.

• Envirolink Northwest – Farm Advice Programme
• University of Cumbria

The event is designed to assist you to make informed choices about your renewable energy project ideas and to produce a ‘How to’ guide to renewables for the local community.
